Located in Melbourne’s CBD’s historic Georges building, this project was awarded the first Climate Active certification in the shopfitting industry. The carbon-neutral project reflects Aesop’s ambitious sustainability agenda to reduce their impact on the planet. 

Amber bottles from recycled Aesop products were used to expertly craft the vaulted ceiling’s aggregate stucco, and travertine off-cuts were employed to create the salvaged Palladiana floor. The blackened-steel joinery, sandy-hued walls, and the restored front windows stay true to the Aesop vernacular whilst honouring the heritage of the location.
